Hi, my name is Kathy and I welcome you to my online art studio.  I'm based in tropically hot North Queensland, Australia.  My purpose is to create art that makes people’s heart sing and fill their space with colour and joy.

My artwork is an energetic rich modern impasto style.  I paint the intricate symbolism of florals and nature, or capture the heart and soul of a loved one, using thick vibrant colour and bold buttery strokes.  Being the 'Impatient Artist" I paint with large, broad brushes or palette knife...at quick pace!

My work predominately features florals, cows and pets, working mostly with oils, but also using resin, inks and charcoal. I have exhibited works in galleries throughout Queensland and Western Australia.

I’m excited to share my creative works with you and the uplifting feeling of colour into your world.
